NEW 2013-14 SAMPLE UNIT FRAMEWORK FOR AMERICAN LITERATURE AND COMPOSITION

The 2013-2014 unit revision committee recently completed their summer roundtable work sessions. Based on their discussions and revision work, you will find their proposed revisions of the first unit for American Literature and Composition. This unit may include many of the same texts as the original unit, may be text neutral, or may be based on new texts. We are excited to showcase the many different ways in which the rigor of CCGPS can be met, and we are pleased to share these new samples. Please feel free to use any or all of the materials that fit your needs.

You are responsible for reviewing all materials for the appropriateness of the language and content of texts. The DOE does not mandate or recommend curriculum materials.
